Splitit is a point-of-sale group payment application that allows friends to pay together. The purpose is to allow consumers to divide payments among a group. This gives retailers access to a greater clientele base. Products that were once only available to the wealthy will now reach a new consumer base. Also, products that already extend as far as possible will now be able to buy with ease, increasing sales.
